đź§ľ How to Request a Refund or Stop your Splitit Installment Plan for a Whop Purchase
If you made a purchase from a Creator through the Whop platform, and want to ask for a refund OR stop your payment plan (with Splitit), you’ll need to do it through your Whop account. Whop creates an account for you using the email address used at checkout.Â
Please note: this process must be followed to request a refund or a cancellation of your Splitit plan.

🤝 How Whop and Splitit Work Together
Whop is the platform where you made your purchase. It helps Creators sell memberships, coaching, products, or services.
Splitit is the payment service that lets you pay over time with your existing credit card.
Here’s what that means:
Whop manages your purchase, refunds, and communication with the Creator/Store you purchased from.
Splitit manages your installment payments after your purchase is complete. However, we cannot adjust your plan until you request a refund/plan cancellation in the Whop portal.Â
đź’ˇ Because of this, refunds must always be requested through Whop first. Splitit cannot issue a refund directly.

💻 If You’re Using a Computer
Log in to your Whop account https://whop.com/@me/settings/orders/ by entering your email
You'll be asked to enter the code sent to your email
Select your purchase from the Orders tab
Find the purchase you want to refund.
Click Request a Refund.
Follow the steps on screen and include any helpful details.
Select the reason for your refund request (Note: this will also ensure you get your Splitit plan cancelled)
- Enter the details of your refund/plan cancellation request. Upload a file or image showing your attempt to communicate your request to the Creator or Merchant where you made your purchase.Â
Your refund request will go straight to the Creator through Whop’s Resolution Center. If you and the Creator can’t find a solution, Whop will step in to help.

📱 If You’re Using the Whop Mobile App
Tap your Profile icon.
Choose Manage Memberships.
Select the item or subscription you want a refund for.
Tap Request a Refund.
Fill out the form and tap Submit.

⚠️ Important Notes
Whop will not consider refund/plan cancellation requests submitted outside their website/app. Requests must be initiated through your Whop account to be reviewed.
Splitit cannot process a refund for you, since all purchase records and refund controls are managed by Whop and the Creator.
Please ensure you’ve submitted your refund or plan cancellation request through Whop first.
If you’ve already submitted a request in Whop and haven’t received an update, Splitit’s Support team is happy to contact Whop on your behalf to help you get a status update.
