💳 Accepted Card Types
❌ Not accepted: Debit, FSA/HSA, prepaid, or commercial cards.
✅ Accepted: Only eligible US-based Visa and Mastercard credit cards (some exclusions apply, e.g., certain Chase cards).
🔒 Why credit cards only: We need to place a temporary authorization for the full purchase plus any fees, which only works with credit cards.
⚙️ How It Works
💳 Credit card only: Payments must be made with an eligible credit card. No bank transfers, checks, or other payment types are accepted.
🌎 US only: The program is currently available only in the United States.
Once your purchase is complete, if you did not select “Pay in Installments” or that option was not available, your purchase will be charged in full and cannot be converted to an installment plan afterward.
If you experience any unexpected or unusual transaction issues, try restarting your phone and attempting the purchase again. Also ensure your Samsung phone and Wallet app are updated with the latest versions.

💳 How Much You Can Spend with Installments
You can create installment plans using only the available credit on your existing credit cards in Samsung Wallet that are activated for installments.
This program does not provide a new loan or line of credit — you can only use what’s already available on your card.
You can create installment plans up to the amount of the available credit you have on the credit cards, in your Samsung Wallet, that have been activated for installments. There is no other loan or line of credit extended through this program; you can only utilize what is currently available on your credit card.
💡 Comparing Interest: Installment Plan vs. Credit Card
To see which option is better for you, compare the total interest and fees for the Splitit installment plan with your credit card’s interest rate and repayment terms.
This will help you determine which option is more cost-effective for your situation.
💰 Paying Off Your Installment Plan Early
You can make extra payments or pay off your plan early through the Splitit Shopper Portal.
Doing so reduces the total interest you pay, since interest is only applied to the remaining balance.
There are no prepayment penalties, so paying early can save you money.
